Photo-shoot Plan

Green Room Booking

Here is the booking sheet for the green room. I decided to take my photographs against a black background as I wanted to produce a dramatic emotional image of my artist and I thought with this and the lights pin pointed on my model, this would be the best location to do this. I decided to book in advance so that I knew I would be able to go in and not be disrupted. It also guaranteed that I would be able to use the facilities.

Lighting Arrangements
In the green room you have access to all sorts of lighting from spot lights, softboxes, and warm glow lights. I mainly used 3 softbox lights to achieve the lighting affects on my model. But I also used  warm orange light which when experimenting with the angles of the light, made my model look warm. This was as successful because it made my artist look orange. When using the softbox lights, I arranged them at different angles and intensity to see what different moods and affects I could create.

Camera

To take the photographs for my ancillary texts, I used my Lumix G2 DSLR camera which I have been using for several years. I am therefore familiar with the settings and features on the camera. I decided to photograph my images in RAW format, because this format is a lot better quality than if I was to photograph in JPEG. It also allows me to edit my images more effectively and less likely for my images to become pixilated.
